Randall E.
Duran - CEO

|
Randall has over twenty years of technology consulting
experience and has worked with major financial
institutions around the world, including: Goldman
Sachs, Nomura Research, Salomon Brothers, Standard
Chartered, Credit Suisse, DBS Bank, China Construction
Bank, and the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Randall received
his B.S. and M.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology (M.I.T.) in computer science.
Prior to founding Catena Technologies, Randall was
the Asia-Pacific Vice President of Enterprise Solutions
for Reuters PLC, a major financial markets information
and technology provider. He also spent eight years with
TIBCO Finance Technology Inc. TIBCO Finance pioneered
the delivery of digital market data to trading floors
in the 1990s and was one of the foremost innovators of
middleware messaging technology. Randall has managed
software development, technology consulting, and
business operations in the Silicon Valley, London, and
Singapore.
Randall is also an adjunct professor at the
Singapore Management University teaching graduate
courses on financial services solutions and
architecture.

Aaron Hallmark - COO

Aaron has over fifteen years of technology experience
in cross-asset trading, clearing, risk management, and
accounting. His experience in analysis, development,
project management, and consulting has spanned across
the U.S., Canada, the Middle East, and throughout Asia
Pacific, and includes projects with such clients as
JPMorgan Chase, HSBC, Citibank, Morgan Stanley, HKMA,
and SGX. Aaron received a B.S. from Stanford University
in Symbolic Systems with a focus in Artificial
Intelligence, as well as an MBA from the University of
Southern California Marshall School of Business.
Prior to joining Catena Technologies, Aaron spent
more than 9 years with Calypso Technology, a global
financial software and services company focused on
cross-asset trading, risk management, and processing.
At Calypso, Aaron led the Professional Services team
for the Americas based in New York. Most recently at
Calypso, Aaron was based in Singapore as the Director
of Professional Services, Asia South. Aaron has
extensive experience as a project manager and director,
and has in-depth systems delivery knowledge related to
OTC and exchange-traded vanilla and derivative products
trading, clearing, risk management, and back-office
processing.

Tom Hayhurst - CTO

Tom has ten years of software development and
technology consulting experience, including assignments
in Europe, the United States, and throughout Asia.
Before joining Catena Technologies he was the Chief
Architect for Asia for TIBCO Finance Technology Inc.
and then a Managing Consultant in the Business
Development practice of Reuters Consulting. Tom has an
M.A. from Oxford University and an MSc. in logic and
artificial intelligence from Imperial College, London.
He specializes in the design and implementation of
complex systems involving a spectrum of hardware,
software, and networking technologies. Tom's direct
involvement with customer-focused projects includes
designing enterprise-wide integration platform for a
Asia-based regional bank and automating and optimizing
manual business processes using business process
management, content management, and integration
technologies. He has in-depth knowledge of foreign
exchange dealing systems and retail banking
processes.

Ian Hobson -
Director

Ian is a director of Catena Technologies and is on
the boards of several technology companies in the U.K.
As Vice President of the global technical services
team, Ian was responsible for starting up and then
managing the European operations for the company now
known as TIBCO Inc. Before TIBCO, Ian was the IT
Director at Hambrecht & Quist - now Chase H&Q
in San Francisco, a company with a unique record in
working with high technology growth companies.
Prior to his time at H&Q, Ian was a Manager for
Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in San Francisco
and London, gaining valuable experience in managing
large systems integration projects. He has a B.Sc. in
Engineering from Imperial College of Science and
Technology.
